Live on Your Own with Help from a Friendly Team

Get the daily help you need to live safely and happily. We offer NDIS support for people living in their own homes or in a shared house with others.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is a type of NDIS help. It is built to help you live as independently as possible. Our team helps you with daily tasks inside your home. We also help you learn new skills so you can feel more confident every day.

SIL usually happens in a house you share with others, but it can also be in your own private home. Our job is to guide you through tasks, not just do them for you. This helps you learn how to manage your own life.

Why Use This Service?

SIL is a great choice if you are an NDIS participant who wants to:

  • Move out of your parents' house.
  • Move into your own place.
  • Get regular help to keep your home running well.

Looking after a house by yourself can be hard. We are a trusted SIL provider based in Liverpool. We offer care that fits your needs. We help you settle into a safe and comfy home while you learn skills for life.

Why Choose NDHS for SIL?

The Right Staff for You

Our managers are trained health experts. They make sure you are staying healthy and feeling your best.

Your Home, Your Choice

Your home is your special place. You decide who comes inside, how to decorate your room, and what you want to do each day.

Access & Process

How to Get SIL

To get this help, your NDIS plan must have funding for "Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Life." Usually, a health expert needs to write a report to show the NDIS that you need help at home every day.

Simple Steps to Start

Step 1
Getting to Know You

We look at what you need and what you like to do. This helps us find the best home for you.

Step 2
Making the Plan

We create a list of the hours and tasks you need help with. We send this to the NDIS to get it approved.

Step 3
Moving In

We introduce you to your new housemates and your support team. Then, we help you move in comfortably.

Got Questions?

Common Questions

No. NDIS SIL funding only pays for the staff who help you. You will need to use your own money, like your pension, to pay for things like rent, electricity, and food.
Yes. If you want to move into a shared house, we will let you meet the other people first. We want to make sure everyone feels happy and safe living together.
Yes. You do not have to move into a new house to get SIL. If you already have a home but need help to live safely, our team can come to you.
This depends on what is written in your NDIS plan. Some people have help for a few hours a day. Others have a support worker with them 24 hours a day, including overnight. We work with you to find what fits best.
It can be confusing! SIL is the money for the people who help you (the support staff). SDA is money for the building or the house itself. We provide the SIL team to help you live well inside your home.
It can take a little bit of time because we have to talk to the NDIS first. We will help you with the paperwork to make it as fast and easy as possible.
